Private LEssons

1 on 1 Initial Lesson
$90.00

Regardless of current experience level, I begin all coaching with a 90-minute skills lesson at the park (typically 3 separate sessions to cover all the basics). This allows me to clearly evaluate your fundamentals and refine technique in a controlled environment without trail variables interfering. This ensures that when we do get on the trail, you’re applying proper form with confidence. Initial Skills Session Location: Discovery District Park (Gilbert, AZ)

On The Trail Training
$140.00

After you have completed your Initial Lessons, its time to hit the trails! We have worked on all the basics in a controlled environment. Its time to implement our technique in the real world. This is typically a 90 minute session where we will work on a trail we decide on together that will be a perfect test for your current ability.

I also offer advanced On The Trail Training for high level riders, that don’t necessarily have to go through all 3 Initial Lessons, but I highly recommend at least one (you would be surprised at little details I have been able to fix with very good riders).

About Motomort Training

MotoMort Training is a coaching and skills program dedicated to helping riders improve their technique, confidence, and enjoyment of two-wheeled sports.

Founded by lifelong rider and coach Ryan Mortensen, MotoMort Training focuses on practical instruction that helps riders progress faster while riding safer and smarter. Whether on a motocross track or a mountain bike trail, the goal is simple: learn the right techniques so you can ride better and have more fun.

Ryan has been competing in motocross and mountain biking for more than four decades, lining up for his first motocross race in 1982. Since then he has spent a lifetime racing, training, and refining riding technique across both disciplines. Along the way he has competed in major amateur and professional-level events, including racing the AMA 4-Stroke Nationals in the early 2000s, and continues to compete today.

But MotoMort Training isn’t just about performance.

It’s about serving riders first.

By helping others improve their skills, avoid common mistakes, and progress safely, MotoMort Training exists to help riders enjoy the sports of motocross and mountain biking at a deeper level.

MotoMort Training operates as a training program and coaching platform under MotoXRiders Inc., a Christian nonprofit ministry dedicated to helping people know and follow Jesus through the community of two-wheeled sports.

While MotoMort Training focuses on skills coaching and rider development, MotoXRiders hosts trackside and trailside chapel gatherings, rider community events, and ministry outreach.

Together, the two work hand-in-hand:

MotoMort Training – Rider coaching and technique development
MotoXRiders – Faith, fellowship, and ministry in the riding community

Our hope is to serve riders both on the bike and beyond it.
